To create this I needed a roll of leather, staple gun, leather string and a book I didn't care about.  The book was from the dollar store and was the easiest to find.  All the leather was found at Hobby Lobby along with the hardware.

I wrapped the book with the leather cutting out what I needed then stapled it to the book.  I cut a ping pong that's painted like an eye in half and cut another strip of leather, putting an oval slit in it for the eye to come out of, stapled that to the top using leather sting to give it the outline.

I am really happy with the way it turned out. It resembles the Hocus Pocus book, and my wife loves that Halloween move.
